MetalCutHQ needed an experience that could give buyers useful pricing immediately while allowing each participating shop to control the materials, services, and pricing rules behind the result.
Approach
MetalCutHQ was designed as a two-sided quoting product. Buyers upload STEP, STP, or DXF files, then select material, thickness, secondary services, and finish. Geometry is analysed in the browser and the quote updates as the configuration changes.
On the shop side, fabricators configure what they sell and how it is priced, share a shop-specific quoting link, and receive priced submissions for review. This keeps the buying experience fast without reducing the shop’s control over its own commercial rules.
